About On Sight Photographic
OSP is basically me, Andy Sillett, plus an extra photographer, assistant, makeup artist or retoucher if required.
What can I tell you about myself?
First, I live and breathe photography.
I love photographing people. For me, a picture without person in it feels empty.
Vision and excellent interaction with subjects is crucial to good portraiture.
Maybe because of my journalistic background, I strive to tell stories with images - whether it’s in a refugee camp in Calais, or at a corporate event in the City.
When I’m not working on commissions, I like to go out and shoot with vintage cameras, but whatever the camera, I want my pictures to have a ‘wow’ factor.
I’m never completely satisfied with my work for long and never want to stop learning.
